Creative Thinking Workshop
Collaboration with Lilly Friedeberg (Design Studio BOB) and Alexandros Michalapoulos (Morphoria Collective) in Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen.
It all begins in Düsseldorf.
I got the opportunity to work with Lilly for a week in her studio which enhanced my skills in Illustration and packaging design. While there, we talked about the future and how Lilly and Alex wanted the opportunity to travel the world doing workshops and helping designers and illustrators. I said it would be brilliant if they could come to Aberdeen since there isn’t much happening, design wise.
We stayed in touch, I mentioned the idea to my tutor back in Scotland who was also keen to take this forward and so we did just that!

Design Concept
I wanted to take the styles of both Alex and Lilly’s work into one while also communicating the concept behind doing the creative thinking workshop.
The blob emerging out of the box is to illustrate the ‘thinking outside the box’ narrative and benefits that will be brought when developing creative thinking.
The interesting shapes behind the box is to represent the brain and inspiration affecting our ideas.
I took the most common colours from Alex and Lilly’s work and put them together in this poster.
You can see some of the work produced during the workshop, here
